Full Stack & AI Engineer

We are looking for a Full Stack & AI Engineer who can combine robust software engineering with applied AI expertise. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain next-generation digital solutions that enhance safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency with a focus on leveraging AI-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full stack applications using .NET and Python (FastAPI) on the backend, and React (or similar front-end frameworks, e.g., Angular, Vue) on the frontend.
• Architect and implement cloud-native microservices that are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Build and maintain integrations with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB) for structured and unstructured data.
• Deploy and operate applications on Azure, leveraging App Services, Functions, API Management, Cognitive Services, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, fine-tune, and integrate AI/ML models (including LLMs) into applications to solve business problems.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to prepare, transform, and manage datasets for AI workflows.
• Implement MLOps practices (monitoring, versioning, retraining, and deployment of models in production).
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Studio, etc.) to boost productivity and maintain high-quality code.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams - product managers, data scientists, QA, DevOps, and subject matter experts to deliver business-critical, AI-powered solutions.
• Ensure application reliability, security, and ethical AI practices through automated testing, monitoring, and governance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in full stack development and/or AI engineering.
• Strong proficiency in:
• Backend: .NET, C#, Python (FastAPI), RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.
• Frontend: React (or similar frameworks), TypeScript, modern UI/UX patterns.
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Cognitive Services, AI Search, Monitoring).
• Databases: SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn) or LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Hands-on experience with Git, containerization (Docker), and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, system architecture, and secure coding practices.

Nice to Have

• Highly preferred: Some experience with AI integrations and a strong willingness to learn and grow in this area.
• Experience with enterprise-scale AI adoption and legacy system modernization using AI.
• Prior exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Contributions to technical documentation, architectural design, or AI governance frameworks.
• Publications, projects, or contributions in AI/ML communities.
