Full Stack Developer

Viva Energy Australia is hiring a hands-on Full Stack Developer to join our Platform team.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with a talented group of developers to design, build, and maintain applications that power our business operations. You’ll work on exciting new initiatives, delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions, while also providing BAU support for production systems. Responsibilities & Requirements

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the platform, including issue resolution, debugging and production support.
• Build and maintain frontend and backend components of the platform.
• Environment management.
• Implementation planning and cutover execution.
• Contribute to the technical design and system architectures.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security across the platform.
• Stay up to date with the emerging technologies and improve the usability of best practices.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualified in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• 8-10+ years of experience.
• Commercial experience in developing web applications using C#, .NET, and Web APIs.
• Strong capability across frontend technologies and frameworks, like Angular and Typescript, including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
• Experience in API integration development.
• Working knowledge of databases like Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, Cosmos db.
• Experience in the Azure cloud platform or equivalent.
• Hands-on exposure with versioning and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code ( Bicep, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Git).
• Understanding of Serverless, Micro services  and Container architectures.
• Solid understanding of an automated testing framework and secure code practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Technical experience in Node JS, Mobile Apps and development methodology would be favourable.
