Full Stack Engineer

DS creates systems that power the next generation of radio spectrum intelligence. We collect radio data from all over the world, train neural networks to decipher it, and run them on the smallest chips we can. We’re solving a new, technically hard problem where nothing from other fields works out of the box, and along the way, we’ve built our own stack from scratch, including entirely new embedding model architectures, custom GPU kernels, and much more.

This year we’ve done 8-figure revenue, tripled our headcount, and raised a $25M Series A led by Sarah Guo (Conviction), Akhil Iyer (Shield Capital), and Nat Friedman (NFDG). We’re using it to invest in new research and to grow our small, New York-based team across engineering, research, and product.

We’re hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and refine our web-based interfaces, turning AI signal processing systems into an intuitive, performant user experience. You’ll work across the stack—from front-end frameworks like React to backend services in Rust—delivering fast, scalable solutions that keep pace with our rapidly evolving product.

This is not just a heads-down coding gig. You’ll be part of architecture discussions, quick prototypes, and real customer deployments, all in a startup environment where speed and ownership matter. What You'll Do

• Build and optimize front-end applications in React for real-time data visualization and user interaction.

• Develop backend APIs and services, contributing to both Rust and Python codebases.

• Work with databases and data streaming systems, ensuring performance and reliability at scale.

• Contribute to ad hoc prototypes—like a quick UI or a full system add-on—and integrate them seamlessly into the overall product.

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and ML teams, translating insights and feedback into new features or improvements.

• Participate in architecture-level decisions, helping shape the evolution of our platform.

Who We're Looking For

• Hands-on full stack experience—you’re comfortable hopping between frontend frameworks (React) and backend services (Rust, Python).

• Strong web development fundamentals—RESTful APIs, databases, and modern front-end tooling.

• Preferably startup experience, or at least a track record of working fast and delivering in a dynamic environment.

• Comfortable in Linux environments, with good understanding of build, deploy, and testing workflows.

• Excited to learn quickly and take on challenges beyond your immediate comfort zone.

• Great communication skills—you’ll discuss designs, explain technical trade-offs, and coordinate with multiple teams.
