Boston Heart Diagnostics is seeking a talented Full Stack .NET Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-quality software solutions across the full stack, with a strong emphasis on .NET development, API design, and backend services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems within the U.S. clinical diagnostics space.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using the Microsoft .NET stack and supporting technologies.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs that integrate with internal and external systems.
- Develop, update, and troubleshoot Windows Services to support background processing and automation.
- Write efficient SQL queries, create and update stored procedures, and optimize database performance in SQL Server.
- Work collaboratively within a team across the entire development lifecycle to develop and integrate high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with .NET MVC and the broader .NET ecosystem.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with Git for source control and team collaboration.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering best practices.
- A customer-service mindset with a strong desire to provide excellent end-user experiences.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, or Angular.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
