- Role Summary:
- Provides expert-level support for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure within a client's environment.
- Troubleshoots complex infrastructure issues, optimizes performance, and provides guidance on best practices.
- Acts as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with client stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to, diagnose, and resolve complex GCP infrastructure incidents.
- Monitor and maintain the client's GCP environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and networking components.
- Provide proactive guidance on GCP architecture, security, and cost optimization.
- Document troubleshooting procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with Google Cloud support and engineering teams.
- Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP infrastructure services.
- Expertise in Linux/Windows server administration.
- Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- GCP certifications are highly desired.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with automation and scripting.
