General Hand

About the Role

Due to the ongoing growth we are experiencing, we are currently seeking a motivated and results driven individual to join the team in the position of General Hand in our Brisbane Service department.

This role is responsible for assisting the Service department by ensuring the Yard and Workshop is organised and well maintained, for keeping all stock stored in an orderly manner, unloading deliveries, relocating stock and carrying out regular inventory checks. In addition to this, the successful candidate will be required to complete ad hoc tasks for the branch as required.

 Duties & Responsibilities

• Accurately tag all goods to allow for identification and allocation of units, batteries & chargers
• Rotate battery stock on a daily basis and ensure all batteries are kept in an operational manner.
• Complete the monthly stock take of all Capital Equipment at the Brisbane warehouse and workshop and assist in the reconciliation of this process.
• Receive and allocate to designated areas all Capital Equipment.
• Unload/load incoming/outgoing containers and interstate/intrastate transport in a safe and careful manner that avoids damage to goods and injury to any person.
• Clean & maintain demo/sales stock

Requirements

Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role.
• Initiative, motivation and the ability and willingness to learn all areas of Crown business, to support branch requirements.
• Time management skills.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Highly focused with attention to detail.
• Forklift Ticket or previous experience.
