We are hiring a General Manager, Construction to own FieldAI’s success in construction. This role is accountable for ensuring our technology aligns with real construction workflows, delivers value on live jobsites, and scales across customers with credibility.
The General Manager, Construction operates with end-to-end ownership for construction outcomes and partners closely with Product and Engineering to shape direction based on field reality.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Leadership
Define and own the construction vertical strategy, including market positioning, target segments, and expansion prioritiesIdentify high-value construction use cases aligned with Field AI’s technical strengthsMake strategic tradeoffs between customer opportunities, product capabilities, and long-term platform scalabilityRepresent the construction vertical in executive planning and cross-functional prioritizationOperational Ownership
Drive operational alignment across Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market for construction initiativesEstablish clear success metrics for construction deployments and ensure accountability against themOversee pilot-to-scale transitions within construction accountsIdentify and resolve execution bottlenecks that impact construction delivery and adoptionFinancial & Business Accountability
Own construction vertical performance against revenue, margin, and growth targetsEvaluate deal structures, deployment models, and expansion strategies for long-term sustainabilityInform pricing, packaging, and commercial strategy for construction offeringsBalance short-term revenue opportunities with long-term product and margin healthDomain & Market Leadership
Ensure FieldAI’s technology aligns with real construction workflows and jobsite constraintsEngage directly with strategic construction customers and partnersRepresent FieldAI in industry forums and executive customer discussions
What You Bring:
10+ years of experience in construction, construction technology, or adjacent industrial sectorsExperience owning business performance, vertical strategy, or P&L componentsStrong understanding of construction workflows, digital delivery, and technology adoption challengesDemonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives in complex environmentsFinancial fluency and comfort evaluating revenue models, cost structures, and deployment economicsExecutive presence with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders

Compensation and Benefits
Our salary range is between ($70,000 - $300,000 annual), but we take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Also, while we enjoy being together on-site, we are open to exploring a hybrid or remote option.
