JOB PURPOSE
The Graphic Designer creates decks, look books, mock-ups, and proofs for various brands and recreating logos and or artwork for the clients.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The following are the specific duties and responsibilities of the Graphic Designer.
- Communicate and understand the client's instructions on how the proofs, decks, and lookbooks will be designed and save them as PDF.
- Mimic decks/lookbooks in a much simpler or high fashion depending on the client's demands.
- Work on applications such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop for proofing of products, following the proper method of design, and providing accurate proof details.
- Provide unlimited revisions for the client’s satisfaction, mainly by replacing the logo or changing the sizes, colors, and items - would also need suggestions
- Manage client’s files (.AI & .PDF) in Dropbox to locate the files easily if needed or requested by the client.
- Track the number of proofs per day using a web-based tracker
Requirements
- A person with a creative eye.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Positive approach in a busy working environment
- Ability to quickly learn new software
- Strong attention to detail
- Prior knowledge of Illustrator is a plus
- Working knowledge of Photoshop is a must
- Junior to Mid EP score - we need someone with a deeper sense of comprehension.
- Preferably with access to Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and InDesign.
- Art Portfolio - from previous/current clients.
- Candidates will have to complete a set of assessments focused on creating/fulfilling sample requests from the client.
