Graphic designer - Direct Acquisition
Hybrid in London
The company
Small businesses move fast. Opportunities often don’t wait, and cash flow pressures can appear overnight. To keep going, and growing, SMEs need finance that’s as flexible and responsive as they are.
That's why we built iwoca. Our smart technology, data science and five-star customer service ensures business owners can act with the speed, confidence and control they need, exactly when it's needed.

Our ultimate mission is to support one million SMEs in their defining moments, creating lasting impact for the communities and economies they drive.
The team
The Brand team sits within the wider Direct Acquisition team, which also includes sales and marketing. The Brand team is relatively new and is tasked with ensuring we show up consistently, with authority and credibility. It’s also responsible for creating demand at the top of the funnel, as well as empowering marketing, sales, and the wider business.
About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Graphic Designer to join our Brand team and help raise the quality of design across the business. You’ll be the primary designer supporting marketing, brand, sales and other teams. We care more about strong creative instincts, originality, and the ability to make things look and feel exceptional than the number of years on your CV. However, you should be able to hit the ground running and deliver high-quality work efficiently.
You’ll have the autonomy to own projects end-to-end while being supported and empowered as part of the growing Brand team. This is a practical, execution-first role for a confident doer who wants to make a real impact on how our brand communicates across multiple channels.
Variety and impact
Create and deliver a wide range of marketing materials, including digital ads, social posts, content (e.g. ebooks, reports, infographics), print collateral, and event materials.
Own projects from brief to delivery, ensuring they align with stakeholder timelines and brand standards.
Apply the existing brand system consistently and work with the Head of Brand to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate and iterate with stakeholders
Be the internal design expert, collaborating with colleagues, iterating on ideas, and constructively challenging input when needed to ensure the best design outcomes.
Tap into the growing community of iwoca designers and collaborate with external specialists to innovate and find new solutions to design problems.
Example projects
Empower our performance marketing team to launch thumbstopper creative assets on various digital channels seen by hundreds of thousands of people
Help us maximise the impact of our content marketing by creating high-quality, engaging visuals that bring our stories, insights, and propositions to life.
Support design requests from across the business with huge variety - no two requests are the same!
Requirements
Essential:
Strong creative instincts and proven ability to deliver original, high-quality work across multiple customer-facing formats
Ability to take projects from brief to final execution independently
Strong design fundamentals: layout, typography, hierarchy, and visual consistency

Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset, balancing speed, quality, and creativity
Preferred:
Experience designing for B2B, fintech, or SME audiences
Motion or animation experience
Experience contributing to or improving an existing brand system
Exposure to performance marketing or high-volume marketing environments
