Your Job:
As Graphic Designer, Digital you'll set a new PB for the Brooks brand. Your must be ready to drive any project that comes your way, from concept development to art direction and developing breakthrough design that inspires runners and the running community.
You are well versed in responsive web design within the confines of our CMS. You have solid experience in design orchestration, balancing brand, conceptual exploration, story telling, and the craft of design to create an exceptional experience that achieves commercial results. Your design range must have the elasticity to stretch across responsive web design, consumer communications and advertisements, online events, online video, digital, and social. You play an essential role in expressing the ethos of the Brooks brand, drawing on customer insight for inspiration and talent for execution. To excel in this role, you’ll need to have a vision for what’s possible, a knack for getting others bought in, and the pragmatism to make it a reality.
Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Marketing and eCommerce teams to provide a digital design perspective to the evolution of Brooks communication on digital channels (creating UX-driven responsive design to all elements of the website and related communications)Support the Marketing team with digital and print designs and campaigns, and directing photographers, illustrator, and freelancer designers. Work with the local in-market teams and EMEA Marketing managers to localize campaigns and assets to each EMEA market to be relevant for local runners Drive creative development from concept to design completion, including concepts, sample layouts, story boards, and art direction for illustration and photography.Create the finished design assets for all elements of a campaign, this encompasses all digital elements. Problem solve and find multiple design solutions, especially under narrow parameters or strict budget.Collaborate with agencies and the global Marketing team by playing an essential role in expressing the ethos of the Brooks brand in an online and interactive.Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to requested updates.Work on non-Digital Graphic Design requests when needed.Presentation savvy – prepare concepts and present them to stakeholders. Direct freelance creative partners as required (photographers, illustrators, and designers).Gain and maintain a current and deep understanding of Brooks products, what matters to runners and the competitive landscape.Translate complex product technology into easy-to-understand storiesCommit to making www.brooksrunning.eu the runner’s favorite online store and continually strive to improve the shopping experience and grow our brand awareness.
Qualifications:
Creative portfolio demonstrating best in class layout, typography, and conceptual design skills. Please add your online portfolio link at the top of your CV when applying.+3 years experience as a web designer or equivalent.Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant experience.Expert knowledge in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop are unequivocally necessaryResponsive design experience is unequivocally requiredExperience with Sketch is strongly desirable Experience with designing within the confines of a web CMS is strongly desirable, Sitecore and Salesforce a strong plus Experience with creating animated banners is strongly desirable.Experience with Adobe After effects is a big plus.Experience in the digital design space, especially within response web design, digital and email communications, and digital advertising Previous design experience at a creative agency or with an in-house creative team preferred.Experience art directing photographers and illustratorsFast and efficient, with proven project/time management skills; committed to meeting deadlines and responding promptly to requests and edits Ability to work late afternoons, for close collaboration and alignment with our global team located in the US.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in English.
