Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Graphics Programmer to join our team in building immersive web applications. You will be responsible for leveraging modern WebGL technologies to create engaging 3D experiences that push the boundaries of what's possible in the browser.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize 3D graphics systems for web applications using ThreeJSImplement advanced rendering techniques to achieve high visual quality while maintaining performanceDesign and build reusable graphics components and shader systemsCollaborate with designers and other developers to turn visual concepts into technical implementationsDebug and optimize rendering performance across different browsers and devicesStay current with emerging graphics technologies and best practices in the web space
Qualifications
Strong programming skills (Javascript, Typescript, etc.) with experience building production web applicationsExperience with ThreeJS, WebGL, or other web-based graphics librariesUnderstanding of fundamental computer graphics concepts (rendering pipelines, shaders, 3D math)Experience with GLSL shader programming and graphics optimizationsKnowledge of modern web standards and browser capabilitiesAbility to balance visual quality with performance constraintsBalance utilizing known/reliable solutions while tracking new technologies to improve usabilityFamiliarity with web-based mapping SDKs (Mapbox, MapLibre, etc.)Familiarity with additional 3D frameworks (Babylon.js, PlayCanvas, etc.)Background in OpenGL, DirectX, or other graphics APIs is a plusExperience with WebGPU for next-generation web graphicsKnowledge of physics simulations or procedural content generationFamiliarity with asset pipelines and 3D modeling toolsPrevious work with AR/VR web applications is a plus
