Group Manager - RNA

About the Role: Seeking a skilled Senior Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure and high-performing cloud data solutions, preferably on Microsoft Azure . Should have deep technical expertise in data architecture, hands-on experience with modern data platforms, and a strong understanding of data migration across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.

Experience in the insurance domain is a plus.

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Architect and optimize data models, pipelines, and integration frameworks for analytics and reporting. Support data migration initiatives from on-premises to cloud and between cloud platforms (Azure preferred; GCP/AWS acceptable).Implement and maintain data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. Build and manage data warehouses, lakehouses, and real-time streaming solutions.Evaluate and leverage appropriate cloud- based technologies to optimize data infrastructure. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and optimized performance.________________________________________Required Skills and Experience:5–6 years of experience in building and deploying cloud-based data solutions, preferably on Microsoft Azure.Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Data Platform components such as Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks and Azure SQL.Proven experience in data migration (on-premises to cloud and cloud-to-cloud) , data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and data integration patterns (ETL/ELT).Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and master data management (MDM) concepts.Proficiency in SQL, and working knowledge of Python is preferred.Knowledge of streaming and real-time data processing frameworks.Exposure to GCP or AWS data services and familiarity with insurance domain preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to mentor teams and translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or equivalent are highly desirable.
