At Instructure, we believe in the power of people to grow and succeed throughout their lives. Our goal is to amplify that power by creating intuitive products that simplify learning and personal development, facilitate meaningful relationships, and inspire people to go further in their education and careers. We do this by giving smart, creative, passionate people opportunities to create awesome.

And that's where you come in:

We’re looking for an experienced Group Product Manager to join the Canvas team - a group driving the success, growth, and innovation of our flagship suite of products. We’re building an AI-first platform to connect the learning ecosystem. As a Group Product Manager on the Canvas team, you’ll shape how learning organizations, learners, and education technology companies thrive in a connected ecosystem.

This is a role for someone who is obsesses over customers and users, sweats the details of success measures and commercial goals, and is inspired by new ways of experiencing technology. If you’re driven to deliver outcomes, not just outputs, and if innovation excites you as much as execution – we’d love to hear from you.

What you will be doing:

  • Contribute to the vision and strategy of Canvas, prioritizing the most impactful investments so that product outcomes drive measurable value for learners, learning organizations, and partners.
  • Lead product development from discovery to general availability, ensuring successful development, delivery and go to market.
  • Deeply understand our user’s, customer’s, and partner’s needs through interviews, data, and experimentation – and bring their voice into every decision.
  • Define success measures that matter, then track and report against them to ensure accountability and progress.
  • Collaborate relentlessly with other product managers, design, engineering and go-to-market teams to define strategy, align on priorities and solutions, and ship with speed.
  • Leverage AI-powered workflows in your daily practice to drive efficiency, reducing time-to-validation while delivering innovative solutions.

  • What you will need to know/have:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in edtech or adjacent industries where outcomes and trust matter.
  • Proven ability to define measurable success criteria – and hit them.
  • A bias to action, you move quickly from ideas to experiments, reduce time-to-learning, and aren’t afraid to make informed decisions with imperfect information.
  • Strong customer empathy and ability to translate insights into actionable product direction.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience aligning diverse stakeholders and working within cross-functional teams. You view “we” as stronger than “me.”
  • Comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to bring clarity, structure, and measurable outcomes to evolving product spaces.
  • An innovative spirit. You’re comfortable challenging the status quo and experimenting with new approaches.

  • Get in on All the Awesomeness at Instructure:

  • We offer competitive, meaningful benefits in every country where we operate. While they vary by location, here's a general idea of what you can expect:
