Head of Finance - Fintech Businesses

Overview
We are seeking an experienced finance leader to spearhead the financial strategy, planning, and commercial decision-making for a dynamic portfolio of digital assets for our leading TMT (Telecommmunication, Media & Technology) client. This role will drive capital efficiency, ensure robust financial governance, and deliver sustainable value creation across diverse ventures in e-commerce, entertainment, health tech, education, insure tech, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership – Develop financial roadmaps, investment models, and business cases to align growth objectives with capital priorities.
• Capital Management – Implement disciplined capital allocation frameworks to maximize ROI across ventures in different growth stages.
• Performance Management – Build venture-specific financial models, monitor unit economics, and optimize margins with a focus on KPIs such as burn rate, LTV, CAC, and profitability.
• Business Partnering – Collaborate closely with digital and product leadership, challenging assumptions and providing insights to guide investment, product, and partnership decisions.
• Governance & Reporting – Standardize financial reporting, ensure compliance, and represent digital finance in investment committees, board meetings, and strategic forums.

Requirements

- 12–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience in digital businesses, venture-backed startups, or technologyenabled environments.

- Strong understanding of startup economics, scaling dynamics, and platform-based financial models.

- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse business portfolios and influence investment decisions.

- Excellent commercial acumen, financial modeling, and board-level communication.

- Experience in evaluating early-stage ventures, digital P&Ls, and building scalable finance processes in fast-paced environments.

Education: Chartered Accountant, CFA, or MBA (Finance/Strategy) from a top-tier institution
