Head of Product Design

We are looking for a Head of Product Design who will own design strategy across all products and lead the evolution of GoMining’s design language — from vision to execution and measurable product impact.

This role combines strategic leadership, hands-on design expertise, and deep understanding of fintech and Web3 UX.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Design Vision

• Lead the transition toward a refined FinTech design language, while preserving GoMining’s brand identity and moving away from a purely gaming-style aesthetic.
• Define and own the product design vision across web and mobile platforms.
• Establish design standards, principles, and best practices across the company.
• Drive design quality through regular reviews and clear feedback processes.

Team & Process Management

• Lead and grow UI/UX teams across web, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Own design workflows: discovery → concept → validation → developer hand-off.
• Ensure close collaboration between design, product, and engineering teams.
• Build scalable processes for design reviews, documentation, and consistency.

Fintech & DeFi Product Design

• Design intuitive interfaces for complex financial products, including lending and yield-based protocols.
• Simplify complex backend logic into clear, user-friendly product experiences.
• Design flows for wallet, card, and neo-banking features, including account management and transactions.
• Ensure clarity, trust, and usability in data-heavy interfaces and dashboards.

Web3 & Non-Custodial UX

• Design secure and frictionless onboarding for non-custodial wallets, including seed phrase handling and multisig setups.
• Create high-conversion KYC and compliance flows without sacrificing user experience.
• Balance security, regulation, and usability in Web3 products.
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design (UI/UX), including leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing design teams across mobile and web platforms.
• Strong background in fintech, DeFi, or complex financial products.
• Experience designing data-heavy and transaction-based interfaces.
• Deep understanding of Web3 UX, non-custodial flows, and security considerations.
• Ability to translate complex systems into simple, elegant user experiences.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
• English B2/C1.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with crypto wallets, lending platforms, or neo-banking products.
• Experience building or scaling design systems.
• Background in high-growth fintech or Web3 companies.
• Experience working in distributed, remote teams.
