Job Description - Summary
We are seeking a Head of Sales to lead, grow and professionalise our sales function. This role will drive revenue by transforming leads into long-term residents, investors and ambassadors for Green Heart Kilifi.
The Head of Sales will build and manage the sales team, optimise tours and conversion and open new markets through partnerships, events and diaspora engagement. The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, disciplined and thrives at the intersection of real estate, lifestyle and storytelling.
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales Leadership and Team Building
• Recruit, onboard and manage a team of Sales Consultants.
• Set KPIs, track performance and build a culture of accountability.
• Coach team on product fluency, storytelling and relationship selling.
Pipeline Management and CRM
• Own and optimise Zoho CRM for tracking, forecasting and reporting.
• Ensure all leads are nurtured from first touchpoint → tour → close.
• Refresh and re-engage the existing pipeline with structured follow-up.
Customer Engagement and Tours
• Redesign and scale the Green Heart Tour Experience with the team.
• Ensure tours are consistent, memorable and conversion-focused.
• Unlock tour innovations (Green Heart as a key ecotourism destination in Kilifi).
Market Development and Partnerships
• Lead Nairobi and diaspora roadshows, embassy outreach and targeted events/exhibitions.
• Activate high-net-worth communities (golf tournaments, associations).
Commercial Strategy and Reporting
• Align sales with brand, finance and operations in collaboration with leadership.
• Provide weekly/monthly dashboards on leads, tours, conversions, revenue.
• Feed customer insights into pricing, packaging and product development.
Qualifications & Experience
Must-have
• 7+ years in sales leadership (real estate, lifestyle, or high-value B2C).
• Proven ability to build/manage a sales team that delivers results.
• Strong grasp of CRM systems (Zoho an advantage).
• Track record of closing high-value deals.
• Comfortable engaging HNWIs (High-Net-Worth Individuals), diaspora clients and families.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in brand-led or lifestyle-driven sales (luxury, hospitality, wellness).
• Network in Nairobi, diaspora, or coastal property markets.
• Ability to integrate storytelling and sustainability into commercial outcomes.
What Success Looks Like (12 Months)
• Fully operational, accountable sales team in place.
• Tours doubled, conversion rates significantly improved.
• A disciplined CRM pipeline driving predictable revenue.
• Strong partnerships delivering diaspora, HNWI and corporate leads.
• Tuli Gardens showhome (Dec 2025) launch fully commercialised.
