About the role:
We’re growing quickly and are looking for a Senior HR Partner to support our Pharmacy function as a whole. This is a practical, people-focused role, working closely with assistants, pharmacists, technicians, dispensers, and pharmacy managers to ensure they feel supported, engaged, and able to do their best work.
Alongside day-to-day HR support, you’ll play a key role in helping shape the culture within Pharmacy - bringing our values to life in a way that feels real, relevant, and works in a busy, regulated environment. This is about creating a place where people feel proud to work, not just well-managed.
What You’ll do:
Provide day-to-day HR support to Pharmacy teams, advising on performance, absence, wellbeing, and employee relations
Support the full employee lifecycle for Pharmacy colleagues, from onboarding and probation through to progression and exits
Be a visible, approachable HR presence across Pharmacy - someone people trust to give clear, practical advice
Work with managers and teams to embed a positive, inclusive culture that supports collaboration, accountability, and high standards
Partner with recruitment and onboarding teams to ensure new Pharmacy joiners feel welcomed, supported, and part of the culture from day one
Support managers with people processes such as performance conversations, probation reviews, and absence management
Help bring people initiatives to life - engagement activity, recognition, wellbeing ideas, and ways to celebrate great work
Provide HR advice aligned with UK employment law and good practice, in the context of a regulated healthcare setting
Use feedback and people data to spot themes within Pharmacy teams and help turn them into practical, people-focused improvements
Get involved in wider people projects when needed, from policy updates to onboarding improvements or manager training
What You’ll Bring:
Solid HR generalist experience, ideally in operational, fast-paced or regulated environments
A people-first mindset - you care about how work feels, not just how it’s done
Confidence supporting a wide range of people queries with a calm, fair, and pragmatic approach
A natural ability to build trust across different roles and seniority levels
Willingness to be hands-on, visible, and involved in day-to-day life within Pharmacy
Strong organisation and prioritisation skills - you can juggle multiple requests while keeping a steady head
Working knowledge of UK employment law (or the ability to quickly build it)
Experience using HR systems (HiBob experience is a bonus, not essential)
What we offer:
Generous Leave: 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after year one and 30 after year two) + 8 bank holidays
Pension Matching: Up to 5% employer matching contributions.
Flexibility and Wellness: Work-from-home options, cycle-to-work scheme, and more.
Growth Opportunities: Collaborate across teams and represent Montu at events, with support to grow your skills and impact.
Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Leave
