We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to lead our Latin American (LAM) operations from our office in São Jose dos Campos- Brazil. As the HR Director, LAM, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with our organization's goals and support our growth in the Latin American region.
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Lead and manage the HR team across the Latin American region
- Drive talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing workforce
- Oversee performance management processes and initiatives to enhance employee productivity and engagement
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and compliant with local regulations
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across Latin American countries
- Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational development and change management initiatives
- Manage employee relations, fostering a positive work environment and resolving complex HR issues
- Implement and maintain HRIS systems to improve HR processes and data analytics
- Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure consistency in HR practices while adapting to local needs
- Provide strategic guidance to business leaders on HR-related matters and serve as a trusted advisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role
- Proven experience working in Latin American markets and understanding of regional HR practices
- Strong knowledge of Latin American labor laws and regulations
- Expertise in strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational development
- Proficiency in performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and employee relations
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage cross-cultural teams
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish language skills are a plus
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement innovative HR solutions
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals
