Responsibilities:
- Administer and support payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including payroll data entry, audits, reconciliations, and issue resolution in coordination with ADP.
- Support employee benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), leaves of absence, and workers’ compensation, by maintaining accurate records and assisting employees with benefits-related inquiries.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with HRIS reporting related to payroll, benefits, headcount, and workforce data to support audits, compliance, and internal reporting needs.
- Support compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws by assisting with documentation, recordkeeping, and payroll- and benefits-related policy implementation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payroll and benefits discrepancies and support routine audits, open enrollment, and vendor reviews.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including payroll setup, benefits enrollment, COBRA coordination, and final pay processing.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and HR policies in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Support multi-state payroll and benefits administration, including maintaining awareness of state-specific requirements and changes.
- Contribute to payroll, benefits, and HR process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and supporting system or workflow enhancements.
- Support general HR operations as needed, including HR documentation management, employee data audits, and administrative HR tasks.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on payroll and benefits administration
- Working knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws related to payroll and benefits
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required.
- General understanding of HR processes, including employee records management, compliance, and HR operations
- Experience working with HRIS databases, data accuracy, and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, basic reports)
- Professional working proficiency in both Korean and English.
Preferred Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience supporting multi-state payroll and benefits administration is a plus
The base salary range for this role is between $70,000-$80,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
