What You'll Be Doing:

  • Report to Group HR and collaborate closely with business leaders on all-rounded Human Resources & Administration functions.
  • Act as a key HR Business Partner; initiate and implement HR strategies and policies to support business growth.
  • Review and develop proper workflows within the HR department to enhance work efficiency.
  • Handle payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts, including identifying, attracting, and selecting top talent.
  • Address and manage employment issues, including involvement in court cases as necessary.
  • Ensure local compliance with business licensing and employment laws.
  • Manage the end-to-end performance management cycle, including setting up OKRs.
  • Develop effective work procedures to ensure work efficiency across the HR department.
  • Design and implement an effective performance management system across the Malaysia region.
  • Support the Group Human Resources in HR initiatives such as HR policy review, formulation & implementation and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with HR Specialists to maintain and effectively utilize HRIS.

Requirements

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist and HRBP role, with hands-on payroll and recruitment experience.
  • Solid knowledge of Malaysia’s employment ordinance and related regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience handling employment issues and participating in court cases.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and influential people manager at all levels, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
