Critical care but need to emphasize that this includes intermediate patients as well. 2 years recent hospital experience, MI RN License, American Heart BLS, American Heart ACLS

H2 is a 32 bed acuity adaptable critical care unit located on the second floor of the Hauenstein Neuroscience Center that facilitates the ability of patients to remain in the same room throughout their hospital stay. Nurses are trained and the unit is equipped to accommodate patients with critical care needs, intermediate and general medical/surgical patients. Staffing ratio is 1:1-4 (acuity dependent) following a Pod design. This unit cares for patients with a wide variety of medical, surgical and trauma needs, facility has Level II Trauma certification.
