In Home Caregiver Needed For Wed Fri Sun 12 Hour Shifts In La Jolla

Cheer Home Care is looking for a compassionate and experienced In-Home Caregiver for a private home in the La Jolla Bird Rock area. This position offers 12-hour day shifts on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

In this role, you will provide essential non-medical home care services for a hospice client who is bedbound, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life in a supportive home environment. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and repositioning
• Monitoring client comfort and reporting any changes to the care team
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and peaceful environment

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Cell phone with internet access
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Preferred certifications: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED (not mandatory)
