ABOUT THE POSITION
In-house Lawyer at BURGA is more than just a title - it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.
Your Role: you’ll help shape BURGA’s legal and regulatory foundations across all markets, enabling the business to grow confidently and responsibly. From advising on e-commerce, consumer protection, and compliance matters to managing contracts and supporting internal teams, you’ll turn complex legal requirements into clear, practical guidance. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in protecting the brand, strengthening trust, and ensuring BURGA operates compliantly in a fast-moving, international environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Shape BURGA’s regulatory strategy across all markets, anticipating legal developments and their business impact.
- Design and embed compliance frameworks that enable business growth whilst managing risk.
- Advise on consumer protection and e-commerce legal positioning to strengthen brand trust.
- Prepare and oversee a range of contracts, from influencer and content creator agreements to service, NDA, and B2B contracts.
- Work closely with other departments, providing support and coverage for the legal department head as needed.
- Handle HR-related legal queries and guide employees on basic matters.
- Leverage legal research tools and AI solutions to drive efficiency and insight.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 3+ years of strategic legal or compliance experience, preferably in e-commerce, consumer goods, tech sectors, or as an in-house lawyer/law firm.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business strategy.
- General understanding of GDPR, consumer protection, e-commerce, and international trade law with a commercial mindset.
- Knowledge of labour law and contract law is a strong plus.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to systematically gather and analyse information.
- Proficiency in leveraging Office 365, legal research tools, and AI solutions to drive efficiency.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
SALARY: 3200 - 3800 EUR/Month GROSS. We’re open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
