The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Quality Inspector to join our consultancy team in Göteborg. This role is perfect for a technical expert who thrives on ensuring the safety and reliability of complex rail systems. You will represent our firm on-site, acting as the critical link between engineering excellence and final delivery.
Your Future Role
You will be integrated into the Quality division, reporting to the Regional Quality Director. Your primary focus will be the lifecycle of rolling stock and rail infrastructure:
Final Inspection & Delivery: Support the rigorous inspection and handover of new train fleets to the end customer.
Fleet Integrity: Conduct quality-related fleet checks and lead the Zero Defect Program to ensure peak operational performance.
Compliance & Technical Audits: Report defects and ensure strict product compliance (post-rework) in accordance with Quality Control Plans.
Documentation Management: Maintain the Car History Book (CHB) and record inspection results using advanced industrial digital tools.
Special Processes: Collaborate with Engineering teams to verify that deliveries from origin sites meet stringent rail quality standards.
We value a proactive attitude and a passion for technical precision. To succeed in the rail consultancy environment, you should possess:
Technical Background: A Degree in Engineering (Electromechanical, Electrical, Material, or Mechanical) or equivalent hands-on experience.
Quality Expertise: Proven experience with quality management and structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, Root Cause Analysis).
Rail Standards: Familiarity with railway industry norms, safety certifications, and specialized industrial processes is a significant asset.
Communication: Fluency in English is required for global collaboration; proficiency in Swedish is highly beneficial for local site coordination.
