Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager with strong exposure to Windows and Linux platforms and data migration projects. The role involves leading end-to-end infrastructure initiatives including server migrations, data center or cloud migrations, OS upgrades, and large-scale data movement with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Windows & Linux infrastructure projects, including:
    • Server migrations (physical → virtual, on-prem → cloud)
    • OS upgrades and platform refresh
  • Manage data migration initiatives (file systems, databases, application data)
  • Plan and execute cutover, rollback, and go-live strategies
  • Coordinate with Application, DBA, Storage, Network, Security teams
  • Manage project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reporting
  • Ensure adherence to change management, ITIL, and security compliance
  • Work with vendors and third-party migration partners
  • Conduct UAT support, DR readiness, and post-migration validation
  • Handle stakeholder communication and executive reporting

Requirements

Infrastructure Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Windows Server & Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
  • Experience with VMware / Hyper-V
  • Familiarity with cloud migrations (Azure / AWS)
  • Knowledge of storage, backup, and DR concepts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT / Engineering
  • 5–10 years overall IT experience
  • 3+ years as Infra / Platform Project Manager
  • ITIL / PMP / PRINCE2 (preferred)
