Inside Sales Specialist

Our client, a food manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales Specialist to support day-to-day sales operations and customer account activity. This role is focused on order management, customer communication, and ensuring a smooth sales process from order entry through delivery.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and customer service are key.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management & Sales Support

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently in internal systems
• Manage order entry, updates, and changes while ensuring data accuracy
• Track order status and provide timely updates to customers

Customer Service & Communication

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, products, and delivery timelines
• Respond promptly to customer requests via phone and email
• Address and resolve order issues, discrepancies, and service concerns

Pricing & Documentation Support

• Prepare and provide quotes based on established pricing guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of pricing, contracts, and customer information
• Support basic pricing updates and ensure alignment with internal policies

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Partner with operations, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
• Communicate customer needs and order requirements internally
• Assist in resolving shipping or inventory-related issues

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inside sales, order management, or customer service experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred
• Experience in manufacturing or food production environments is a plus
