At the heart of creative spaces, the Installation Technician is a true builder of solutions. Versatile, autonomous, and resourceful, they are responsible for the maintenance, transformation, and evolution of the studio’s installations.
Their role goes beyond standard maintenance: they design and fabricate custom elements, support live-action shoots and projects, and actively contribute to creating functional, inspiring, and safe work environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Master your craft
Perform a wide variety of manual tasks: construction, renovation, and general maintenance.
Ensure routine maintenance of installations (basic plumbing and electrical work, carpentry, painting, locksmithing, etc.).
Carry out demolition and light construction work (partitions, surfaces, temporary or permanent setups).
Execute finishing work with precision (plastering, painting, adjustments).
Maintain key studio spaces: walls, cyclorama, terrace, common areas.
Manage workshop inventories, tools, and materials.
Coordinate and oversee interventions by external suppliers when necessary.
Creative Quality
Design and fabricate unique, custom elements for film, advertising, and live-action projects as needed.
Demonstrate imagination and ingenuity to solve unusual technical or logistical challenges.
Technical Quality
Apply strong skills in construction, repair, and maintenance.
Perform basic diagnostics and interventions in plumbing and electricity (an asset).
Maintain a high level of quality in all work performed.
Consistently follow health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Communication
Collaborate closely with tight-knit, passionate teams.
Clearly communicate constraints, proposed solutions, and work progress.
