Position Overview

To manage and optimize Bioiatriki’s relationships and contracts with insurance companies across both primary and secondary healthcare, ensuring fair, sustainable, and efficient collaboration that supports patient access and company profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the negotiation, renewal, and administration of contracts with all insurance partners
  • Ensure commercial terms, reimbursement structures, and service scope are aligned with strategic and financial objectives.
  • Monitor contract compliance, payment timelines, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Maintain an up-to-date overview of all active contracts, terms, and renewal cycles.
  • Work closely with Finance and Commercial Excellence to evaluate pricing, reimbursement rates, and service profitability.
  • Propose and implement contract optimization initiatives to improve margins and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor reimbursement trends and regulatory changes impacting both diagnostic and clinical services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for insurance companies, ensuring transparent communication and effective collaboration.
  • Strengthen relationships with key insurance executives and medical networks to enhance cooperation and patient referral flows.
  • Coordinate issue resolution between operational teams and insurers on approvals, billing, and claims.
  • Track developments in the health insurance and healthcare reimbursement landscape.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and joint initiatives with insurers (e.g., preventive check-up programs, digital pathways).
  • Provide senior management with insights and recommendations to guide Bioiatriki’s insurance strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or Health Management. A master’s degree (MBA/MSc) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance contracting, health economics, or healthcare management — ideally within private healthcare or insurance sectors.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems, diagnostic and clinical service pricing, and payer relations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with a focus on sustainable partnerships.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
