Intern, Production Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Engineering Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in poultry production processes, facility operations, and process improvement initiatives. The intern will assist the Production Engineering team in ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe production operations.

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining production line efficiency.

• Support process improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.

• Help analyze production data and prepare reports for management.

• Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

• Participate in routine equipment inspections and maintenance schedules.

• Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Contribute to troubleshooting production issues and recommending solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Production/Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Strong interest in manufacturing operations and process optimization.

• Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing, production planning, or quality control is a plus.

• This position is based in Pasir Gudang.
