Internal Auditor - Detroit
Beech Valley is seeking an Interim Internal Auditor to backfill a role supporting an internal audit team. This consultant will participate in internal audits, SOX compliance, and plant-level audits across multiple facilities. The role involves working as part of a hybrid internal audit team and requires onsite presence in Detroit with travel to plant locations.
What You’ll Do
- Execute internal audits and support SOX compliance activities
- Perform plant audits, including financial and operational cycle reviews
- Review manufacturing processes, including tooling and related controls
- Collaborate with a combined internal audit team for on-site plant audits
- Document audit findings and support remediation efforts
- Participate in internal audit advisory projects through mid-August
- Travel to manufacturing plants in TN and AZ as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Internal audit and SOX compliance experience
- Background in plant audits within manufacturing environments
- Ability to work onsite in Detroit and travel as required
- Availability to start immediately
- Detroit-based candidates strongly preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience using AuditBoard
- Exposure to both financial and operational audit cycles
- Experience auditing tooling or capital-intensive manufacturing processes
