Internal Auditor - Detroit

Beech Valley is seeking an Interim Internal Auditor to backfill a role supporting an internal audit team. This consultant will participate in internal audits, SOX compliance, and plant-level audits across multiple facilities. The role involves working as part of a hybrid internal audit team and requires onsite presence in Detroit with travel to plant locations.

What You’ll Do

• Execute internal audits and support SOX compliance activities
• Perform plant audits, including financial and operational cycle reviews
• Review manufacturing processes, including tooling and related controls
• Collaborate with a combined internal audit team for on-site plant audits
• Document audit findings and support remediation efforts
• Participate in internal audit advisory projects through mid-August
• Travel to manufacturing plants in TN and AZ as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Internal audit and SOX compliance experience
• Background in plant audits within manufacturing environments
• Ability to work onsite in Detroit and travel as required
• Availability to start immediately
• Detroit-based candidates strongly preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience using AuditBoard
• Exposure to both financial and operational audit cycles
• Experience auditing tooling or capital-intensive manufacturing processes
