IT Platform Cloud Engineer

Job Title: IT Platform Cloud Engineer

Contract duration: 6-12 months contract

Portugal Location ONLY,  We are open for remote working in Portugal, and consultants are expected to travel to Coimbra or Castelo Branco offices on need basis.

Experience range: 5 to 7 years.

·       At least 5 years as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Specialist or DevOps engineer with significant experience with scripting and/or programming languages for the automation of IT infrastructure (e.g Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Rundeck)

·       Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation)

·       Knowledge and experience with (hybrid) cloud services (e.g. AWS EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda and Nutanix)

·       Experience with containerization technologies is a big plus (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

·       Familiar with Git and managing CI/CD pipelines

·       Experience with Linux system administration is a big plus

·       A proactive approach to exploring new technologies and implementing forward-thinking solutions
