Position Overview
The IT Supervisor (Infrastructure) is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes servers, networks, storage systems, and related hardware/software to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, assisting end-users, and supporting infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintenance & Support
- Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Perform routine system checks, backups, and updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- User Support
- Provide technical assistance to staff on infrastructure-related issues.
- Respond to support tickets and escalate complex problems when necessary.
- Train users related best practices for IT systems and security.
- System Administration
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Ensure patch management and system updates are applied regularly.
- Maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations and changes.
- Network & Security
- Managing control on network performance and implement improvements.
- Managing firewall, VPN, and security system management which deployed in local end market.
- Leading compliance related IT security policies and standards.
- Project Support
- Assist Center of Expertise in IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Collaborate with regional/group IT teams on new technology implementations.
- Managing disaster recovery planning and testing with user
- Leading hyper-care system implementation as part of change management
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of:
- Windows/Linux server administration
- Networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- English is a must
Preferred Skills
- Experience with IT tools (e.g. Checkpoint, SASE, O365)
- Familiarity with ITIL practices.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Working Conditions
- Based in the IT department, supporting all business units.
- May require occasional after-hours or weekend work for maintenance.
- On-call availability for urgent infrastructure issues.
