About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking individual with exceptional customer service skills to join our expanding IT team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to team members with issues related to computer systems, hardware, or software. You will also help manage the onboarding setup and deployment for new hires and serve as a point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues, making this a critical and high-visibility role.

What You Will Do:
2+ years of technical support experience in a corporate environment or Internship experience
Responsible for managing and supporting the IT infrastructure of the Bangalore office as part of IT operations
Onboarding & offboarding for Confluent employees & contractors
Documenting Knowledge Base articles for employee self-service
Managing laptop setup and deployment for new employees with standard hardware, images, and software.
Installing new hardware and software upgrades requested from users
Monitoring and responding quickly and effectively to end-user requests or incidents
Analyzing and solving technical problems by using problem-solving skills via telephone, email, and remote assistance
Providing technical support for audio/visual and event support
Diagnosis and resolution of computer hardware, software, and network issues

Asset Management & purchasing for hardware, software, and SaaS applications
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - Computer Science or related field
Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Experience with AI/ML technologies (GenAI, LLM, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems, and broad understanding of productivity tools
Demonstrated knowledge of technical ability across a wide range of hardware, software, and mobile platforms
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
