Job details

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our Software Engineering department, focusing on the Zema Global Enterprise Platform development and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both application development (50%) and support (50%), ensuring robust software solutions that meet business needs in collaboration with different departments and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve application issues, apply bug fixes, and manage patch releases.
• Introduce and follow good development practices, innovative frameworks, and technology solutions that help businesses move faster.
• Candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting web applications and APIs, ensuring seamless operation, and providing technical assistance to users.
• Follow best practices like estimation, planning, reporting, and improvement brought to processes in everyday work.
• It is automating things wherever it is applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Strong technical expertise in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and REST services.
• Hands-on experience with software development lifecycles, version control system
• Bonus Skills: Experience with DevOps skillset (Linux administration, Kubernetes (K8s), AWS or CI/CD Pipeline) is a plus.
• Experience Level: 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.
