Java Spring Boot Developer - Banking Domain

We are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer with strong exposure to the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications, integrating banking systems, and ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for banking and financial applications.
• Work closely with business analysts and product owners to understand banking requirements such as payments, lending, treasury, or core banking systems.
• Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions following best practices.
• Integrate applications with third-party systems, payment gateways, and core banking platforms.
• Ensure compliance with banking standards, data security, and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure quality deliverables.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+years of experience in Java (Java 8 or above).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Experience in building microservices-based architectures.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and API design.
• Experience with databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA.
• Knowledge of banking and financial domain concepts (e.g., payments, loans, accounts, treasury, risk, compliance, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins.
• Understanding of security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, encryption, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in Node.js ,Angular or React.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.
• Experience with API gateways and service orchestration.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
