At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Architect to join our team in Austin, TX. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment.

As a Software Architect, you will provide technical vision and leadership for projects, ensuring the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical implementations, mentoring team members to drive technical excellence.

Define the technical vision and architectural standards, remaining hands-on with coding as needed.

Lead architectural decisions to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Design and establish standards for APIs and system architecture.

Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to drive innovation within the organization.

Mentor and develop engineers across various specializations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.

7+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.

Strong interest and familiarity with AI technologies, proactively seeking opportunities to leverage AI for innovative solutions.

Proficiency in software architecture and design principles.

Familiarity with cloud platforms and the ability to design cloud-based solutions.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with clients effectively.

Proficiency in Java, JavaScript frameworks like React, RESTful APIs.

Experience in digital transformation initiatives or service-oriented projects.

Familiarity with design systems and DevOps practices.

Technologies such as Microservices, API Gateway, Event Broker, Next.js, Full Stack, and Cloud (AWS/GCP) may be beneficial.
