Junior Accountant

At FTMO, our internal accounting team is an integral part of the finance department and manages a portfolio of dozens of companies – from smaller firms to billion-level players, primarily in the Czech Republic. With the dynamic expansion of our portfolio, we are looking for a new colleague to help us grow further. Thanks to automation and the support of our top-notch IT team, we strive to minimize routine tasks, use smart solutions, and make our work engaging.

We are now seeking a Junior Accountant who is eager to learn, develop, and become part of our accounting team.

What can you expect?

• Process accounting documents and post routine transactions (invoices, petty cash, bank).

• Enter and verify payment orders.

• Collaborate on quarterly financial closings of individual companies.

• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and documents for auditors.

• Handle ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks.

• Cooperate closely with the Controlling department.

What do we expect from you?

• Secondary or university education in economics or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, as well as accounting principles.

• Basic experience with an accounting system (knowledge of Helios iNuvio or Pohoda is an advantage).

• Proficiency in MS Excel at the level of basic functions.

• Independence, accuracy, logical thinking, and strong organizational skills.

• Fluent Czech and communicative English.

• Experience in the field is an advantage.
