Junior Automation and AI Engineer

This role will be based at Menara Skymind. 

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Automation and AI Engineer to join our Operational Excellence team. In this role, you will support the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity across the organization. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to delivering measurable business outcomes.

This position is ideal for someone with foundational knowledge of automation frameworks, AI technologies, and a passion for learning and growing in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with tools like N8N, Nintex Automation Cloud, Power Platform (Power Automate) and UiPath is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Development and Support

• Develop and deploy automation solutions, including robotic process automation (RPA) and workflow optimization.
• Support the creation and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks and reusable components.
• Lead smaller automation projects independently, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and refine automation systems for optimal performance.

Process Analysis and Documentation

• Work with Lean Project Managers and Business Analysts to analyze workflows and identify areas for automation.
• Document automation processes in Nintex Process Manager, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational standards.

Tool and Platform Utilization

• Learn and utilize automation tools such as UiPath, Power Automate Blue Prism, and Automation Anywhere to support solution development.
• Assist in designing workflows using tools like N8N and Nintex Automation Cloud.
• Stay informed about emerging automation technologies and contribute ideas for improvement.

AI and Machine Learning Support

• Assist in integrating AI models into automation workflows under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support the monitoring and optimization of AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-2 years of experience in automation or software development (internships or academic projects are acceptable).
• Basic knowledge of automation tools like UiPath, Power Platform (Power Automate), Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Exposure to tools like N8N, Power Platform (Power Automate) and Nintex Automation Cloud.
• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
• Certifications in automation tools or programming languages.
