Why can this position be exciting for you?
As Junior Event Manager, you’ll be part of our dynamic events team to plan, organize, and execute AMBOSS’s presence at conferences in collaboration with our marketing and sales colleagues based in our offices in Berlin, Cologne, NYC, and other remote team members across the globe. You'll ensure seamless coordination and execution of our conference participation by coordinating different vendors and stakeholders. This role offers the perfect opportunity to develop your expertise in event management while contributing to AMBOSS’ business success in a fast-paced, international environment.
You will:
Collaborate with external vendors and conference organizers to help ensure smooth planning and successful event execution.
Manage conference bookings and additional orders, gaining hands-on experience in coordinating event details from start to finish.
Prepare internal briefing and debriefing documents that help the team stay aligned, improve processes, and capture key learnings.
Support cost tracking to keep events on budget and strengthen your operational skills.
Manage all logistical planning and on-the-ground execution, making sure everything runs seamlessly on event day
You bring:
First experience in event planning, hospitality or related fields
Strong prioritization skills and attention to details, being able to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
Communication Skills- clear & professional in verbal & written communication
Fluency in English (C1/C2)
Outgoing, confident and proactive in building connections and finding creative solutions
Problem-Solving, Adaptability and resilience
Team collaboration - team work is the key to success
A strong sense of ownership and a hands-on mentality - a "can do" attitude first
