Junior Finance Analyst

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an experienced Junior Finance Analyst to support the finance team in financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This role involves working with proformas, budgets, audits, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights that support informed business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid foundation in core finance principles.

This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial proformas, forecasts, and budgets
• Support budget tracking, variance analysis, and cost monitoring
• Conduct general financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Assist during internal and external audits, including documentation and data preparation
• Track, analyze, and report on financial and operational KPIs
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management summaries
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
• Maintain financial data, models, and documentation

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in a finance or analyst role (internship experience considered)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Financial proformas
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial statements and analysis
  • Audits and compliance basics
  • KPI tracking and performance analysis
• Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic financial modeling)
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Good communication and presentation skills
