What You’ll Do:
DeepIntent is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our growing Banja Luka, Bosnia team. The Software Engineer will assist in putting out the most advanced programmatic engine in the current healthcare advertising market. Built upon a modern, state-of-the-art architecture consisting of a cloud deployment of Kafka, BigQuery, and Aerospike, the DeepIntent Engineering team maintains a database of trillions of user interactions with hundreds of terabytes of data generated every month. Our mission is to create the next generation of cutting edge analytics for marketers and you will be a core asset in our pursuit of achieving this milestone.
- Design, develop, test and deploy our core bidding software
- Continuously improve code base and its maintainability
- Work closely with the Data Science team to implement new algorithms and optimize the code base for speed and performance
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables in a timely manner
- Work with business units on Product development
Who You Are:
- 1+ years of experience in software development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
- Familiar with general purpose languages including Java and Spring Framework
- A motivated learner with a strong interest in staying up to date with emerging and diverse technologies
- Familiar with SQL and noSQL databases
- Familiar in writing unit and integration tests
- A strong collaborator in small, cross-domain, distributed team environments
- This role requires in office presence at our Banja Luka location with work from home flexibility
