The Role Overview:

As a Junior Test Engineer, you will support the quality of our software products by executing well-defined testing tasks under the guidance of experienced QA engineers. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to learn, ask questions, and build a strong foundation in software testing.

You will collaborate closely with QA engineers, developers, and product teams, gaining hands-on experience with real-world systems while benefiting from structured learning, mentoring, and continuous feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual test cases for web and/or backend applications based on provided instructions and acceptance criteria

  • Perform small to medium, clearly defined testing tasks with guidance and supervision

  • Follow established QA processes, workflows, and documentation standards

  • Identify, reproduce, and clearly report defects when expected behavior is not met

  • Communicate test results, observations, and questions in a clear and simple manner

  • Collaborate respectfully with QA engineers, developers, and team leads during testing activities

  • Participate in test reviews and apply feedback to improve future testing work

  • Gradually develop familiarity with testing tools, environments, and SDLC workflows

You are a Junior Test Engineer with:

  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical training)

  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts and why testing is critical to product quality

  • Introductory knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Willingness to learn testing tools, terminology, environments, and workflows

  • Ability to follow instructions, test cases, and acceptance criteria carefully

  • A quality-first mindset with strong attention to detail

  • Curiosity and a learning-driven attitude — asking questions when something is unclear

  • Ability to accept feedback constructively and demonstrate continuous improvement

  • Clear and honest communication, including openness about uncertainties or limitations

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to manual testing of web or backend applications

  • Familiarity with defect tracking or test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar)

  • Basic understanding of Agile or Waterfall methodologies

  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification (completed or in progress)

  • Interest in growing toward more independent testing or test automation in the future

Our Benefits:

  • Remote Office – Flexible hybrid form of working

  • Parking Space – Free parking spots provided

  • Fun Office Space – Game zone and relaxation area available

  • Health Insurance – Additional private health insurance, including dental care plan
