Lead Android Developer

Responsibilities

* Hands on developer
* Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
* Focus on building secure and robust applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
* Work with internal and external data sources and APIs
* Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
* Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

Requirements

* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
* 6+ years of experience developing on the Android Platform.
* Proven software development experience and Android skills development
* Have published at least one original Android app on the Google Play Store
* Experience with Popular Android libraries (Dagger, Retrofit)and Application Compatibility libraries (Data Binding) to develop apps that run on all Android devices.
* Experience invoking REST API's and parsing JSON
* Experience with Mobile Security, Encryption and API Security.
* Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
