Lead C#/.NET Developer (Player/Coach) – SaaS

Your Role
You will work with a fast-growing, mission-driven SaaS company that is preparing to bring a new product to market using a Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy. The company operates in a rapidly expanding market and is focused on building scalable, secure, and user-centric software solutions. With a strong engineering culture and direct collaboration with executive leadership, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping shape the technical future of a high-potential product.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and coach a distributed engineering team of 8 developers (internal and outsourced), fostering high performance and accountability
Architect, design, and build scalable SaaS applications using C#/.NET, ensuring production-grade quality
Act as a hands-on contributor, writing and reviewing code while setting technical standards for the team
Drive agile development practices, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous delivery
Own and improve CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient releases
Collaborate closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Represent the engineering function in cross-functional discussions with leadership and, when needed, customers
Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and scalability across the platform
Contribute to shaping and executing the Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy through technical innovation and user-focused design decisions
Requirements
7+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on C#/.NET
2+ years of experience in a technical leadership, team lead, or player/coach role
Proven experience leading remote and outsourced engineering teams
Solid understanding of SaaS architecture and cloud-based systems
Strong communication skills, with the ability to align technical execution with business goals
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern agile methodologies
Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with deep, hands-on coding work
Nice to Have
Experience in the data protection space (backup and recovery solutions)
Exposure to Product-Led Growth (PLG) tools, metrics, or strategies
Familiarity with front-end frameworks, particularly Blazor
Previous experience in startup or high-growth environments
