Knowledge Centre India (KCI)

Established in January 2005, KCI in Gurgaon, works in close collaboration with the Global offices of Egon Zehnder. There are 5 teams that make up KCI: Research, Research Operations, Visual Solutions, Projects/CV Capture and Digital IT.

We are part of Digital-IT team established 17 years ago in Gurgaon, India to provide technology support and rollout digital initiatives to 60 plus global offices. Digital IT has six key pillars – Collaboration Technology; Functional Technology; Digital Technology; Security & Architecture; Infrastructure & Services, Digital Success to support business and to take lead on digital transformation initiatives with the total strength of 150+ team members across the globe

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Implement Systems: Design and implement scalable, high-performance UI and backend systems.

• Solution Design: Translate business problems into robust technical solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of backend and frontend engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate technical decisions, progress, and findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Application Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core and React.js.
• Implement responsive and accessible UI components using React + TypeScript, MUI, and Emotion/styled-components.
• Security & Authentication: Integrate secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth, ADAL, SSO, and Azure AD.
• API Development: Develop and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient asynchronous programming practices.
• Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage applications on Azure Web Apps, leveraging CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Performance & Scalability: Drive initiatives for optimization, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software development
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and React.js.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, MUI, and Emotion/styled-components.
• Deep understanding of OAuth, ADAL, SSO, and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and asynchronous programming.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Architecture & Cloud: Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Methodologies: Exposure to Agile/Scrum practices.
• Testing: Experience with unit testing frameworks and automated testing tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Best Practices: Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices.
• Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions and findings to stakeholders.
