Lead Full Stack Developer (Node.js, React.js)

Role: Lead Full Stack Developer (Node.js, React.js)

Location: NJ – Onsite

Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using React.js (frontend) and Node.js / Express.js (backend).
2. Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
3. Integrate front-end components with back-end services and third-party APIs.
4. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
5. Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage application hosting on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB).
6. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product teams to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
7. Apply best practices in code quality, testing (Jest / Mocha), and documentation.
8. Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and reliability issues using CloudWatch / AWS X-Ray / Logs.
9. Ensure application security using IAM roles, Secrets Manager, Cognito, and AWS best practices.
10. Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and peer collaboration sessions.

Required Skills & Experience:

Frontend:

1. Strong proficiency in React.js, Hooks, Context API, and Redux.
2. Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Responsive Design.
3. Knowledge of modern UI frameworks (Material UI / Tailwind / Ant Design).

Backend:

1. Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, and REST API development.
2. Familiarity with asynchronous programming, middleware, and error handling patterns.
3. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).

AWS Cloud:

1. Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, RDS/DynamoDB, CloudFormation.
2. Experience with serverless application development and AWS SDK.
3. Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
4. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform or AWS CDK) is a plus.

Other Skills:

1. Version control using Git / GitHub / GitLab.
2. Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
3. Understanding of containerization (Docker) and microservices.
4. Exposure to Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
