About the Role
We are seeking a Lead / Principal Product Manager, Data & AI to own the product strategy and roadmap for Inspiren’s fall detection and resident safety platform. This role leads our most critical domain, where computer vision, AI, hardware, and clinical workflows intersect. You will take ambiguous, high-stakes problems around safety, trust, and care outcomes and turn them into a clear, durable product direction.
This is a hands-on leadership role and a key driver of Inspiren’s future. You will define where our fall detection capabilities go next, how we improve and prove detection accuracy, and how AI signals translate into workflows that meaningfully support caregivers and residents. You will be accountable for turning technical capability into real-world impact.
Beyond owning the roadmap, you will raise the bar for how product is practiced across the organization. You will apply deep expertise in AI-powered products to identify new opportunities, guide rigorous product discovery, and evolve our product development processes. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Clinical Success, Data & AI, and Go-To-Market partners, reporting directly to the Head of Product.You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, clinical success and other stakeholders, reporting directly to the Head of Product.
What you’ll do:
- Drive AI-First, Outcomes-Driven Solutions: Partner closely with Data & AI teams to turn computer vision, ML signals, and telemetry into customer-facing value. Ensure models, thresholds, and product behavior are designed with real-world care environments in mind, not just offline metrics. Translate AI performance into language customers understand and trust.
- Lead Product Discovery: Champion and execute the product discovery process for highly ambiguous problem spaces. You will be responsible for defining the "what" and "why" behind our most strategic product bets.
- Establish Product Excellence: Introduce and evolve best-in-class product practices for discovery, experimentation, and decision-making, including modern AI-enabled workflows. Raise the quality bar for product strategy, documentation, and cross-functional alignment.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Inspiren’s fall detection and resident safety capabilities. Set a clear direction for how we improve detection accuracy, reduce false positives, and increase trust with operators, caregivers, residents, and families. Balance near-term product wins with long-term platform investments across AI models, data quality, and workflows.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate across GTM and internal teams to align product direction with customer value and business objectives. Drive clarity in communication and priorities across the company.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to senior leadership.
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor and coach for other product managers, sharing your expertise and helping to build a world-class product team.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of product management experience, with ownership of complex products from discovery through scale.
- Demonstrated experience building and shipping AI-powered, data-intensive products involving machine learning and computer vision in production environments.
- Proven ability to lead highly ambiguous problem spaces and drive a rigorous, outcome-oriented product discovery process.
- Strong track record establishing and evolving best-in-class product practices, including modern AI-enabled workflows for research, analysis, and decision-making.
- Deep fluency in using data, metrics, and experimentation to inform strategy, while balancing real-world constraints and customer context.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Startup or growth-stage scale-up experience, where product decisions had clear, visible business consequences (customer outcomes, revenue, retention, or operational impact).

- Experience building AI-powered, hardware-enabled products that rely on real-time device data and span on-device processing and cloud-based systems
- Experience building AI or computer vision products for non-technical users.

Details
- The annual salary/OTE for this role is $210,000 - 270,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision)
