About the Role
The Lead Technical Recruiter, Product & Engineering – United States owns end-to-end hiring for US-based product and engineering roles, supporting BJAK’s growing technical teams.
This is a hands-on recruiting role with leadership responsibility. You will personally drive critical hires while also helping build, mentor, and raise the bar for the technical TA function as it scales. Success is measured by speed, quality of hire, and consistent delivery.
What You Will Be Doing
Own the full recruitment lifecycle for US-based product and engineering roles, from role intake and sourcing through offer coordination and onboarding support.
Build strong candidate pipelines using US-native, community-driven, and relationship-based sourcing channels (e.g. LinkedIn, GitHub, referrals, engineering communities, direct outreach), beyond traditional job boards.
Partner closely with engineering and product hiring managers to clarify requirements, calibrate expectations, and keep hiring decisions moving.
Screen candidates efficiently for technical capability, mindset, and execution strength.
Coordinate interviews, feedback loops, and hiring decisions with speed, structure, and clarity.
Maintain accurate hiring data in the ATS and provide clear pipeline updates to stakeholders.
Source and hire high-impact talent while building, mentoring, and upskilling junior TA team members as the function scales.
What You Will Need
Strong experience in full-cycle technical recruitment, with solid exposure to the US hiring market
Proven ability to manage multiple technical requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Experience hiring product managers, software engineers, data, or other technical roles is a strong advantage
Strong understanding of technical profiles and how to assess engineering and product talent
Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfortable using ATS systems and tracking hiring metrics
High ownership, urgency, and follow-through
(Industry background is flexible. Candidates with strong tech recruiting exposure or technical hiring experience will be prioritised.)
