About the Role
The Lead T&S Analyst will support understanding the portfolio-wide T&S ecosystem. This role focuses on analyzing T&S data to produce clear, actionable insights and translating those insights into stories that are easy for non-technical audiences to understand. This will require building standardized metrics and robust infrastructure in a complex cross-brand business environment, and continued execution on short-term deadlines while supporting longer-term internal goals. Match Group, through its portfolio companies, is a leading provider of dating products available globally. Our portfolio of brands is designed to increase our users' likelihood of finding a meaningful connection. This is a unique opportunity to support reporting and analytics within the Match Group Central Trust & Safety organization. The team works closely with operations, product, and engineering to surface insights that help improve tools, processes, and outcomes for both members and internal teams. Be a leader with a point of view for the organization and the team, using data to constantly challenge and reshape our understanding of customer or moderator behavior and business performance.Help build towards more robust data infrastructure and tooling solutionsBe a strategic partner by identifying high-impact analytical problems and finding innovative ways to tackle these problemsMetric creation and standardization across the ecosystem that lead to broader product insightsBuild and maintain automated reports that are shared broadly for the Trust & Safety organization to track performance and highlight progressPartner with stakeholders across the portfolio to ensure reporting and metrics are ready to support new product launches and operational changesAct as a point of contact for sharing insights, helping amplify the voice of the member through dataAnalyze trends in support and Trust & Safety data to identify gaps, risks, or inefficiencies in current processesCollaborate with cross-functional partners to define, monitor, and improve operational metrics and reporting standardsTake ownership of analyses from initial question through final insight, following through to ensure findings are clearly understood and actionableManage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-moving environment while maintaining attention to detailMentor other analytics team members, and be willing to both get your hands dirty or advise in a variety of different projects
We may be a Match if:
You have completed your Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related fieldYou have 6+ years of experience in analytics, and consider yourself a SQL expert (4+ with Masters)Deep experience building and maintaining reports or dashboards in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platformsYou have 3+ years of experience working with T&S, customer support, or operations teamModerate experience with programming languages such as Python or R, and similar experience with tools such as Databricks or ModeBasic experience with version control tooling such as Git or DBTYou can think critically, troubleshoot issues, and stay composed when things do not go as plannedYou communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in conversations with stakeholdersYou enjoy working collaboratively and are comfortable partnering closely with operations, product, and analytics teamsYou have a scrappy mindset and can thrive in messy data or ambiguous environments
